The third activity that we had was butter making. In a jar there was cream and we had to use a little tool that was like a egg beater. Using that tool we had to turn the handle for the cream to be churned. We ended up creating a beautiful block of butter with our school logo to indicate that we had made it. Also there was a song that kids would sing long ago while they were churning which was:
Come, butter, come!
Come, butter, come!
Peter’s standing at the gate
Waiting for a butter cake
Come, butter, come!
However instead of Peter the children would put in their own name.

I went their when I was a yr 3 and It was an amazing experience! My old school sang that song while we were making the butter too. I like how you put your school logo on your butter block! How you put the information of what you did and explained what you have done.
