Addition Pyramid

Screenshot 2016-03-04 at 9.43.34 AM.png

In this game it was teaching me how to use/do pyramids in addition. It was not that hard because it was doing the adding for me.  I had to just write down 3 numbers, then it would automatically add up everything to get the answer at the top. Afterwards it would come up like the screenshot above.

Maths prototech

Screenshot 2016-02-26 at 11.54.30 AM.png

In this maths I was learning addition, multiplication and subtraction. It was a bit hard but I knew that I could do it and I came out with 97%. That for me is really high since I was doing stage 6. Next I will try to do stage 7 but at the moment I will try to get 100% on stage 6.

Auckland is the third most liveable city in the world

I like living in Auckland because it is very safe and the weather is great, everything is beautiful here just like a rose especially   “Auckland city.”

Samantha and Michaela

Samantha and Michaela were very kind to help out our school by donating swimming gear for the children. They are both sisters and they love going swimming. They go swimming nearly everyday at 5:00 am. They have received a lot of medals, trophies and ribbons. I would just like to say thank you to both Michaela and Samantha for not only bringing in swimming togs but encouraging the Glen Innes School children to learn how to swim.

HAIKU about Jenascia

Today we have been learning to write HAIKU poems in class.   A HAIKU is a poem with 3 lines.  The first line must have 5 syllables, the second must have only 7 syllables and the third line should have 5 syllables.  They don't have to rhyme.  We have to come up with a noun to write about then we have to come up at least 3  adjectives which we will use in our poem.  It was a challenge for me because it took me a while as I have to choose my words carefully but I had good fun doing it with my friends.

Jam Sandwich

In this game I learnt how to make a proper jam sandwich and it was pretty challenging because the way I make it was not in the passage. I have not known that jam sandwiches can be made in different way so I really think that this game is really good for our learning. Also I would highly recommend this game to others.
