✋🖌 Henna~ ✋🖌

BeFunky Collage.jpg

Yesterday for art we were doing henna. For a few days now, we have been learning about Diwali. The girls from our class were intrigued by the henna art so we asked if we could do it. Using the henna liquid we made simple designs on our arms. Some of us used google while the others just improvised. I really enjoyed doing this art, it was different and really fun.

My task was to read 5 stories and draw pictures to indicate what was happening in the story. The picture above is the first story I drew up about how the Eua Island was created.

We were learning about puns for the past few days, which is a play of words. Our teacher introduced us to puns using, “brainwashing.” She showed us the literal meaning which was washing an actual brain however the pun was to manipulate or make someone do something for you. I used google to help create my pun which says, “What do you mean I’m not a bear? - I have all the koalafications. That pun has just switched the word “quali” in qualifications to koala.
