Omaru Creek metaphor poem - Te Taiao o Tāmaki

Heather is a lumpy grey rock that holds onto rubbish flowing by.

Heather is a tall bulrush that sways from left to right in the breeze.

Heather is a stinky stench lingering through the bushes and into people's nose.

Like your metaphor Poem! Liked how you use your name on the beginning of your sentences, also Love hoe you used some environmental words on your poem!

Kia Ora Heather
I relly like how you used all of that descriptive writing. I also did the same task. The Omaru Creek smells so bad because of the water pollution and chemicals. How would a lumpy grey rock hold onto rubbish?
